“A MUST”
Reviewed May 12, 2014

What a place ! As total newbies to the game we visited AT &T and what an experience from the sellars outside to our seats we had a blast. All the staff were extremely friendly and we were looking lost everybody couldn't do enough to help...And as nice touch and added bonus we were asked to go to customer services where we were given a certificate of our 1st time there a fantastc free momento......food / beer keenly priced for a live event views spectacular and giants won..if you visit the bay area visit this place . We got a good deal on tickets at mlb but a dare say there would be other places, we will return one day

“Excellent evening's entertainment”
Reviewed May 11, 2014 via mobile

We arrived a day early in SF to catcha game at AT&T and we sure weren't disappointed.
We've been to baseball games and love the atmosphere, and this is the best we've experienced. We saw an evening game and the stadium was buzzing. Security is good and hospitality is fantastic!
As we were first timers, we qualified for a certificate - gimmicky, but as the helpful steward giving us directions mentioned it ro us, we didn't like not to get one. Children would love it!
I never thought a Thursday night would attract such a huge audience - I'm used to half full stadiums on a midweek in the UK - but people came and went to catch all of part of the game. We stayed the duration and it's a fantastic evening's entertainment. Tickets are very good value and are relatively easy to get hold of - we only booked 2 days prior (both these are in comparison to English football) and the atmosphere is fantastic. The staff everywhere - stewards, shop, catering booths - are so friendly and helpful and the fans are fantastic. Everyone sits together and you can have a beer and there's no trouble.
The shop we went into was small but well stocked and we passed a larger shop on the way out with a huge selection of merchandise.
There's a huge choice of catering booths to eat from - the burgers were great - and it was good value. Do be warned, if you want alcohol, carry your ID as they check anyone who looks under 30 - we are both well over that and they ID'd us. I didn't have any... it's a strict, but good policy.
The views from our seats were amazing and it was stunning to watch the sun set over the water while in a stadium. The crowds leave are in their masses, but we were lucky enough to get a cab. Take a side street away from the station and there are a few driving around.
In all, a fantastic night out.

“Best Venue for Baseball!”
Reviewed May 9, 2014

Even if you can only afford standing room, give it a try! It's just a great locale -- watch the game when something is happening, and then experience the vibe when nothing is going on. It doesn't hurt that the Giants have the best fan base in baseball.

“Enjoyed the Park and the Game!”
Reviewed May 9, 2014

Beautiful Park. DO NOT EXPECT TO CATCH A CAB AFTER!!! won't happen!! We waited forever and cabs are terrible around the Park after the game. I don't understand why, but they lack cabs in this city for sure!!! Expect to bus!

“Baseball at its best”
Reviewed May 9, 2014

Having been to Candlestick park years ago before the Giants moved to At and T i can really appreciate this new park. While there were many great baseball moments at Candlestick, it was one of the most dreadful parks in all of baseball. Even in the peak of summer the temps at Candlestick seemed just a few degrees warmer than Siberia. The location of the new AtandT park is magnificent. Coming in from the east on the bay bridge you can see the park glistening in the distance. There is plenty of parking located beyond the right field area in what used to be pier buildings. There is also light rail service to the stadium from various locations in SF. And there is ferry service from the Jack London area in Oakland. The views from the upper level seats are amazing. The ocean breezes keep the park cool but not freezing during the summer. The stadium holds just a little more than 40 thousand spectators so it is a cozy baseball venue. The design of this park includes the use of brick and steel combined to make it a quaint timeless baseball setting. The right field fence is drawn in to allow for home runs to fly into McCovey cove where people anxiously wait in all sorts of floating devices. The park also has a standing only area in right field where people can mull around and in left field there is a large mitt reproduction and giant coke bottle just above a small carnival area for kids. This park is the essence of a great family venue. i also noticed that the people seem much happier at Atand t. At Candlestick there were always fights and angry fans. So it seems this new beautiful venue has brought out the best in people. We will definitely be back!
