AT&T Park is the cream of the crop of Ball Parks. I have sat in different sections of the park and they all have great views of the city or the bay. The park is located right on the bay, and the weather is usually warmer than other parts of San Francisco, because of the inland location from the coast. The Ballpark has very good food, including the famous GarliC fries with Gilroy Garlic. I enjoy sitting in the Club Level due to the multiple food choices and the availability of several bars. The staff is great, and the fans are very friendly. Go Giants!!!

Such a beautiful ballpark. It's always fun to take the MUNI with thousands of other fans head-to-toe in orange and black to the park. It can be really affordable too. This last time I took my little boys to watch Timmy (please don't trade him) pitch we got $18 bleacher seats and it worked out great. That's about the same as going to some crappy bowling alley or family fun center so there really is no excuse. My only tip is that I actually prefer upper-deck for cheap seats to bleachers for two reasons: 1. you get an actual seat and 2. THE VIEW!!!!!

I'm not a baseball guy, but I loved watching the Diamondbacks and the Giants go at it. The weather is fantastic. It's right on the water. Hard to imagine a better day at any ballpark.

I have never been to a ball field with a better backdrop. The food, although pricey but in line with other MLB stadiums, was really good (don't pass up the garlic fries). Great selection of beer and the crowd here was very family friendly. Only drawbacks were that they could use more bathrooms as there was always a line and you need to wait in the wings to get back to your seat if there is a batter in the box. Bring a jacket as the nights tend to be on the chilly side.

Let's get the dislike out of the way first. The Giants sell out their stadium. That means you are there with over 40,000 of your closest friends. Forty. Thousand! That's a lot of people. If you love crowds, great. If you are a little apprehensive, that's OK. Everybody stays cool and collected and the lines move smoothly,

Now the good stuff. You can get there on public transportation. Muni stops literally across the street. It's a beautiful stadium in a gorgeous location on the shore of San Francisco Bay. The views from the seats are spectacular.

The variety of food available is quite amazing. The big problem is that you have to leave your seat and walk all over the stadium to learn about all of it which is really hard to do if you are interested in baseball and want to see the game. There are TV monitors all over the place, but if you want to see baseball on TV, stay home and cook whatever you want to eat. It's not as big a problem as I make it sound, but I was there last Friday, the Giants were behind and I was STARVING! mid-way through the 7th inning I went to get something to eat and POW! they scored two runs to take the lead (they gave it up later, but that's not my point).

Don't expect McDonald's prices. $7.75 for really good garlic fries or nachos. $10 for fish and chips. $9 for a beer (but there are some good beers to be had).

Play Ball!
