We were here for a group event in the cute library, which is down a hallway and out of the way of the main restaurant. The whole north side of the building is windows, however, the view over the bay is meh... you have to look past the car park and the other buildings to see into the bay.
Our group was small, 13 in total, but the waiter assigned to us seemed not to grasp that we all might want a drink when we first arrived. We soon got him going and the rest of the night went smoothly. The passed appetizers were nice, and we had a limited menu to choose from. My crab bisque (in a mini sourdough bowl) was very tasty, to be followed by a crispy salmon (perfectly cooked) and two mini desserts. If you fancy death by chocolate you must try their Valrhona chocolate cake. I am a chocoholic and even I could only manage a few bites!
All in all it was a good experience and I'd definitely go back the next time in San Francisco.
