Lucky Seafood Restaurant, UNLUCKY customers. Lucky Seafood displays a year old review from the SF Chronicle, which should be read carefully. I agree with the grossed out reviewer. But fact is, I had the seafood...and it was bad seafood...overly salted down, overly soy sauced...to cover the lack of freshness. Lucky seafood is very lucky...that it sits near a lot of good restaurants, which seem to provide Lucky with those customers (too impatient to wait in line and too hungry to care,) a last-minute option. Once inside the restaurant, customers will be greeted by the friendly squadron of flies that usually circles an empty table, waiting as though they have been trained. Hey, at least insects seem to love Lucky's food, although I can't say I actual saw any that tried the food.
OK, I have gone to worst Chinese restaurants...places where fried wonton wraps is considered a main course...but in a city like San Francisco...Lucky is the equivalent of staying at the Days Inn in Vegas and paying the actual rack rate.
The high point of any visit to the Lucky restaurant is probably being able to find parking within 2 blocks.
