Stopped for lunch on a whim. Great choice!
Friendly, attentive service. Delicious Beet Salad with warm in-house made French bread (I love beet salad...I am fussy...this was delicious!). My husband had the Clubhouse with hand-cut fries. Also excellent!
Definitely would return if we could stay in SF longer!

We were visiting San Francisco with Family and decided to try La Cucina Restaurasnt
It looked popular and all of the outside tables were occupied, so we tried it.
From the moment we were seated, and it took 10 minutes to get our menus, I knew this was not
going to be good. It took another 10 minutes to get drinks and 45 minutes to get our food. Which was dry and not worth the wait. We left no tip and when we got to the register, we talked to the owner, who was apologetic and offered a gift certificate for our lunch. It was a nice gesture, but we will never be back again.

We have eaten breakfast at this little restaurant for over 15 years each time we are in San Francisco. We consider it a genuine "sleeper", little known by anyone except the locals. It is well worth the hike up from Lombard. The owner is very pleasant, the food is excellent, with some unusual and very good omelets, and the fresh-squeezed orange juice is the best, ever. We enjoy the laid-back atmosphere and the always quite good service. After it warms up a bit, for lunch, the patio is quite a nice place to dine, as well. If you want a quiet and pleasant breakfast or lunch experience in the Cow Hollow area, this place is for you...

We stayed in a nearby apartment for a week on vacation and came here for breakfast multiple times. The atmosphere is peaceful and the service and food was excellent. It is also very popular with the locals on the weekend.
