This place was recommended by the front desk at the Hotel Vertiogo and what a recommendation it was! As everyone else has noted, this is a basic place with limited seating. almost all at the counter. It is cash only, but it's easy to get out for under $20 for 2, with tax and tip. If you want a fancy breakfast, forget it. This place has eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, sausage, pancakes and waffles, and not the belgian waffles either. I didn't see any foo-foo coffee driinks on the menu either, just good basic, brewed coffee. I ate there twice during my 3 night stay in SF and it was great both ttimes. The waffles were cooked perfectly, the bacon crunchy (very important to me!) and the eggs not runny. I will be back!

This was good basic breakfast food in a tiny spot. Cash only! I had eggs, toast, sausage and hash browns. Mom had the Denver omelette. Bill was $17.

We eat breakfast here at least once when we visit San Francisco. Vintage Diner atmosphere, the food is good, simple and prepared well. The value can't be beat! If you don't mind eating at a "no frills" place for breakfast and want a good diner quality breakfast - this is a little gem to try out!

The cafe was close to our hotel and we had breakfast there one morning. The place is very basic but the food is decent and worth the money. Good choice for the standard american coffee, pankages, bacon etc.

Loved coming here - chilled atmosphere and great food and you watch them cook your food around a sociable high table
