Stopped at this Japantown restaurant for an early dinner. Ordered the very good seaweed salad and edamame to start. Note that the seaweed salad is more of a mixed salad made with seaweed salad as an ingredient. Not what we expected but very good.
Then had the tonkotsu ramen. Came with chashu pork and smoked egg. The egg was perfectly flavored and cooked. The pork was a bit ordinary. Broth was excellent - and they offer fresh garlic to press into the soup - never seen that before but it was a nice added flavor and probably will keep me healthy all week. Best part was the noodles. A bit sweet and toothy - very good.
Surprisingly reasonable prices. Really nice decor. And great service.
