Description: Alioto's Italian Seafood Restaurant is located in the heart of San Francisco's famed Fisherman's Wharf overlooking the historic fishing fleet and the Golden Gate Bridge. The Alioto family has been serving the freshest local seafood, authentic family recipes, the oldest/original Italian Seafood Restaurant on the Wharf, started by Nonna Rose back in 1925. The restaurant features a warm ambiance with a 3-tiered dining room offering every guest stunning views of San Francisco Bay. Don't forget to try our world-famous Nonna Rose's Cioppino and Dungeness crab, always fresh. A trip to Alioto's is more than food, it's a trip through history to the oldest family owned and run restaurant in San Francisco, boasting the best views and best seafood on the Wharf.

Went in for the view and crab... it was amazing. Great customer service started at the door, helpful and made sure we got a great view. Crab was well worth it for the price. Perfect and juicy. Service was amazing and made you feel comfortable and was helpful with any questions. Dound out after our trip that its the oldest restaurant in San Fran, and owned by a prominent family! They've done a great job!!!!

Walked to the bay and sat at the bar of Alioto's. It took a while for the bartender to help me. I ordered some white wine along with my steamed clams. The steamed clams came to me first (without any bread) and they were mostly tough. I was disappointed. My wine finally came along with the bread. The bartender and staff spent most time with each other complaining and socializing than with their patrons.

Loved the view overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge. Best beef burger ever i've ever had. Lovely service, a little expensive (although they did have a cheaper lunch menu) but considering the view and food I would defo pay it again.

4th generation owed family restaurant?! Think current owner riding on the coat tails of all those that came before. Restaurant needs a thorough cleaning and remodel. Food not impressive nor overly tasteful. Server on this evening too busy socializing with other staff to be interested in providing engaging service. We ordered fried shrimp and garlic shrimp with rice took over hour to come to table. Find better place to eat
