It is literally on the edge of a dock in the San Francisco Bay, hidden behind the tourist shops, so hidden they have free valet parking. Loved that! Fresh from the days fishing, seafood cooked the way it should when you know what you are doing. And they have been doing this for decades.

This was recommended to us by our cab driver. We had nice meal. I had the beet salad to start and then the combo dinner that I shared with my husband. It was pretty good.
My mother had the swordfish and really liked it
Service was excellent (Sql than Bruce). Location was lovely. Very hidden if you don't know where you are going

Fisherman's Wharf has lots of feed the tourists spots. This is not one of them wand is the real deal with much of the fish brought in right off the boat. It has a great Fisherman's Wharf location with water views.

The restaurant is one of those, close your eyes, point at the menu and you'll pick something delicious. Really well done and very tasty with a nice wide variety.

Service is outstanding. Also It is expensive, but where in SF isn't? Worth every penny and a go to, as is it's sister restaurant in Sausalito.

You don't come for the food, you come for the old-fashioned attitude.
This place is still stuck in the Seventies (ok, the prices are not), and you get your classic fish dishes. Stick to the basic stuff, like the cod, and you will be leaving happy.
Truly an old institution in San Francisco!
