Great seafood restaurant, in the Fisherman's Wharf area. Lots of tourists, but good, reliable service and food. Not touristy.

Delighted you enjoyed your visit, both in service and cuisine. Thanks for pointing out that we're a little off the beaten path! We do find that being tucked away on the Bay adds to our charm and authenticity. Looking forward to serving you again soon!

This is the restaurant has been in existence for years. Its very close to Fishman's Wharf. Through the years, it has maintained the highest standard possible for a seafood restaurant. They have their own daily seafood supply. We go there on a monthly basis and never failed to satisfy us. Crab and Lobster courses, Pastas, Steaks , huge selections of fish dishes and the best Clam chowder in California. Its always enjoyable just walk in and have an outstanding lunch or dinner with excellent food, good services at an reasonable cost.

Ambiance, food, and service were excellent. Visited from Utah, where we don't get the freshest seafood. We made reservations, but asked to get a window seat, so we had to wait an extra 15-mintes. OK. The place was packed, with a line around the corner outside. I recommend you make a reservation. John our waiter, was superb, a little OCD, but he kept us neat and organized, and was helpful and funny. I would highly recommend Scoma's. When we return to SF, we will eat here, and ask for John as our waiter.

We came here because we'd read a lot about it. Is it just me or does it look nicer from the outside than in? I was disappointed with the interior decoration but that's purely personal. The food was fine, especially my husband's cioppino, but didn't blow us away and we wanted to be considering the prices! I much preferred the Fog Harbour Fish House on Pier 39.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for pointing out that our décor showcases our history. With almost 50 years on Fisherman's Wharf, we love showcasing our years of memories that make us an authentic San Francisco tradition. I am sorry to hear our Cioppino didn't blow you away. We pride ourselves on serving the highest quality and freshest seafood, and we never want our guests to feel disappointed. I hope you'll give us another shot and perhaps try our famous Clam Chowder on your next outing.
