“Very Fresh Sushi and Happy Hour”
Reviewed October 4, 2013

The sushi is very fresh, as expected for a restaurant in the Marina district. Though we arrived after happy hour, the waiter offered us 1/2 price saki without us asking. The evening we dined, there were a lot of young people in the restaurant giving the place a popular atmosphere. This was definitely a nice change of pace from going to Fisherman's Wharf or Chinatown.

“Great happy hour, nice atmosphere and staff”
Reviewed July 16, 2013

If you're in San Fran for a few days, stay at the Chelsea Motor Inn and eat at this restaurant right across the street. Half price sushi and beer from 5 - 7. Nice people. Nice ambience.

“Quiet Hideaway With Awesome Drink Specials”
Reviewed August 25, 2012

We were in the mood for sake and beer following a Friday night of good food at "Off the Grid". My daughter took us to Marina Sushi Bar on Lombard Street which offered happy hour drink specials until 10:00 PM. Parking at the public parking structure across the street was easy, convenient, and reasonably priced.

If you enjoy sake bombs with large bottles of Asahi beer and good sake, or a good domestic beer like Coors Light (my personal favorite), this is the place for you. Their happy hour drink prices were awesome, the sushi was supreme, and the decor and service were excellent.

We were pleasantly surprised that the sushi bar was empty especially considering it was a Friday night. The interior of the sushi bar was very restaurant like and the waiters were friendly and accommodating. After 1 and a half hours of enjoying sake bombs and sushi, the total tab for 5 in our party was less than $65.00 including tip.

Check it out. If you're on a budget but still enjoy partying with friends, go for their drink specials and first-rate sushi. You won't be disappointed.

“Sushi fix”
Reviewed May 8, 2012

This was the first place we ate in San Francisco. Service was quick, serves were big for the price. The sushi was better than the teriyaki chicken which was a little dry.The Japanese fried ice cream was interesting and tasty - like the Chinese crumbed fried icecream, then coated in tempura. Went back a few days later for take away. Good value.
