Not sure what they do with it but the shrimps in my shrimp cocktail tasted as if they had been washed in chlorinated water. & my husbands calamari was dry & overcooked. My fish in the fish & chips tasted of nothing & my husbands steak was just weird! Tasted like fake food, how can this be? Really poor.

Looking for seafood, saw the reviews and went is. Atmosphere, location, food was very good. Unfortunately, our waiter was not on the ball when it came to attentiveness, may or may not go back

“Good but pricey”
Reviewed October 19, 2013

The Clam chowder bowl was tasty, as is all the other places. The breakfast was way to pricey for a couple of eggs, 1 slice of toast, a couple of small sausages and coffee.... $40.00 for two people

“Blue Mermaid Restaurant”
Reviewed October 16, 2013

My husband and I happened upon this restaurant during a recent trip to San Francisco. We first ate breakfast there and liked it so much we returned for dinner and another breakfast. Restaurant has great atmosphere and ambiance. Staff was very pleasant and helpful and the food was good. Highly recommend this if you are in San Fran. It is "attached" to the Kimpton's Argonaut Hotel in Fisherman's wharf -- which in itself was a site to see.

“Convenient for breakfast”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

This restaurant is connected to the Argonaut Hotel but I'm not sure if they are under the same ownership. It's an easy and convenient place to eat breakfast but there are too many other choices for lunch and dinner in the area. Service was okay, not great. Food was average.
