Had one hour break for lunch during our full day San Fran tour. I had there combo which for a small green salad and clams with linguinni. Very tasty- I am a big fan of shellfish. Taste ws perfect. My bf had the fish trio that had a shrimp shishkaba- salmon and scallops I think. all very tasty. Worth a try!

The chowder here is fantastic. Cream based but not heavy like New England chowders tend to be. Try the California chowder Lots of good veggies as well as clams. Calamari and raw oysters on half shell were excellent too. Sour dough bread tasty. A must if you are down to Fisherman's wharf.

great service and good value for money, servers well informed and attentive, nice choice and not too fussy, loved the crab, not too keen on the chowder.

This dining room is very quirky, with all of the staff wearing black and white striped nautical outfits. The walls are also decked out with all sorts of fishing garb and mounted fish. It has a nice, casual feel to it. We stopped in for appetizers, and the food was fantastic. We started with a Dungeness crab cocktail. That was expensive, but was loaded with crab. Well worth it. Then, we had to try the award-winning chowder. By far the best option is to get the sampler. Select 3 different chowders, and you get a nice size small cup of different styles. The best was the Dugeness Crab and Corn Chowder, which has won awards in the city.
