“Great value for HappyHour with lovely views of the Bay”
Reviewed October 7, 2013

This is a favorite stop for weekday HappyHour when I am in SF. The menu is varied, prices for Happy Hour food items ranged from 2.99 for Laura Chenel Goat Cheese stuffed peppers to 6.99 for nicely done Fish Tacos, with great choices of foods and prices in between. Get there at the right time and snag a high-top table overlooking the Bay. HH-priced drinks are also available; just be sure to get your orders in before prices go up at 6 PM..

“Excellent dinner!”
Reviewed October 5, 2013

I had the fresh halibut, grilled vegis, and garlic mashed potatoes. Food was incredible, service was top notch. My wife had the crab corn chowder and said the same.

“Started slowly and improved”
Reviewed October 1, 2013

Location and views add to the ambiance. Reservation received efficiently but reception somewhat stilted. In spite of requesting one (not guaranteed) we were not provided a window table. The service improved as the night progressed and the food presentation and quality did not disappoint. The cioppino was superb, the petrale sole excellent. Recommended. We would return

“Food with a view”
Reviewed September 26, 2013

Visited this restaurant twice as we loved the food and it was so friendly. Downside was even though we had booked we were kept waiting quite a long time before being taken to our table. They suggest you wait in the bar so I presume they want you to spend money on drinks, however we didn't the second night. Views over the bay are superb though and make the wait worthwhile . The fish is lovely and the crab was the best I have ever eaten.

“No Service”
Reviewed September 25, 2013

In San Francisco for a conference. Walked to Ghirardelli square and saw this restaurant with a nice view. Since I was by myself, the host suggested that I sit at the bar area. After about 10 minutes of waiting and trying to get the attention of waiters running around and doing a good job of ignoring you, I decided that this place is not worth my time. Nice ambience, but service is absolutely horrible. Why did I even bother going here?
