Z doesn't take reservations but we didn't have to wait long - it was a Sunday evening and we were just two so that might have been it. The waiter was a crusty but friendly sort. The food itself was ok - we had a couple of the specials on the tapas menu including the octopus among a few other small plates. Nothing stood out to me except that this seemed to be "regulars" place, one that you get comfortable with, perhaps if you live in the neighborhood. In short, if you're passing by and want to go in, its worth it. If you're making a special trip and need to fight to get parking, maybe not.
