This is a beautiful room of light wood , nice art and beautiful flowers. You feel as though you are dining in someones beautiful dining room in San Francisco, elegant, understated and warm. Our waitress was a seasoned pro: she explained every dish, recommended the best ones and gave us good advice throughout the meal. Everything was delicious, understated and well executed. We had the six course meal. The risotto was heavy but just the right amount so you could eat it all. The meat was delicious. I haven't had a chocolate souffle in ions but this was worth every calorie. Everyone here is in great shape (must be those hills) so an occasional splurge seems in order. This restaurant deserves its high rankings, professional service in a beautiful setting. Just lovely.

Happened to be in SF for work during our wedding anniversary. Called the same day, explained the situation and 5 minutes later got a call back that we had a special table waiting for us at 7:00.
They did their best to make our party of 4 feel like being the only guests in that packed restaurant.
Restaurant managers should take lessons from this place. It is an expensive restaurant but We had so many complimentary food and at the end they gave me a beautiful box of cookies as gift for our anniversary! It is a grown up place but well behaved kids will enjoy the place too. Food is A _ but presentation A++++.

Not far from the tourist trash restaurants of Fishermans wharf is this fantastic place. We went on a Saturday evening, (booked as soon as the book was open for the date). Fabulous food service and ambiance - you can choose any of the options from the each of the course, so if you want 3 starters that’s no problem.
We went more traditional & had a starter main and dessert and they were all fantastic- the smellier recommended some great Californian wine to accompany our meal. Had a wonderful evening, & would thoroughly recommend when in town to visit

Gary Denko's provided one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Great food, excellent service and a pleasant ambiance. Seldom have I read so much and still been surprised at how good a place can be and Gary Denko's doesnt disappoint. With a wide variety of protein, wines and desserts; there's something for even the pickiest of eaters on the menu.

When we arrived our tables werent ready so we were asked to wait at the bar. And since the wait was longer than expected we were given complimentary drinks.
The Lobster risotto was some of the best I've ever tasted (given the fact that it is over cooked more often than not) followed by a bison entree that made me wonder why I havent had more of this protein.
Flambed bananas with marscoponi crepe and vanilla ice was the perfect way to end a night that had awakened the taste buds and palette.

I dont write reviews often but this place has earned it.
Yolo and if you havent been then you are sorely missing out.
