As other reviewers have noted, this is basically a fish market with a long counter and stools. Somewhat limited menu of oysters and salads. Closes at 5:00 pm. I had a crab louie, which was the best I have ever had - about half crab meat. However, at $25, it should be good. I also tried the excellent chowder. The service was fantastic. Everyone behind the counter pitched in. I must have been asked 10 times if everything was good and if I needed anything. One thing to be aware of is that they do not take credit cards. Since it is VERY easy to run up a $40 to $50 bill per person with a glass of wine or two, be sure to bring enough cash. The restaurant is less than a block off the California Street cable car line, so is easy to get to without a car.
