Went with a group of three. Had to wait 30 minutes which is ok for the great food we got served. I recommend all the pasta to try as it is to die for. I have been to Italy many times, but have never had this taste. Strong flavours, lots for garlic, fresh tomatoes, parsley, amazing mix of seafood and al denote pasta. Don't expect a fancy restaurant, but the atmosphere was perfect for us.

The reason why I don't rate 5 stars is value for money as it is very pricy

Their cioppino will change your life. I don't think it was on the menu, but ask the likeable staff. A great little place in SF. We paid about 60 dollars per person (all inclusive) and that was less than other less remarkable dinners in the city. Highly recommended!

The restaurant is nothing fancy, steel tables, oyster crackers. But the fresh oysters, chowder, and service is wonderful! The knowledgeable staff helps you make the best selection for your meal, oyster choices, and wine recommendations. We put our name on the reservation board and snuck over to Swirl wine bar directly across the street during the wait. Waiting outside, diners are delivered samples of the clam chowder :) We started with the oyster sampler - DO it! I then ordered another round as my main course!

Parking in the area is rare, know that ahead of time and it won't put a damper on your visit! Take in all the sites and unique shops on Castro Street!

Wow - this place was jaw dropping good. We had wanted to try it many times in the past but did not want to wait for a table. Well tonight there was no wait and man are we happy we tried it. Everything is as fresh as fresh can get and cooked to order. The assortment of steamed mussels was to die for. The garlic prawns were an a+. This restaurant is better than anything in the wharf and well worth all the hype. It is fairly priced for the size of the portions. I can't wait to go back

They gave us a platter! a platter of 7 different oysters from various part of the North Americas.
We couldnt decide which ones were best, so we just ordered all 7 again!!!

We had to wait about 40 minutes to get inside, there were a lot of people already dining in there.
The service was immaculate, and the guys inside were ready to answer any oystery questions we had.

We were on a mission to find the best oysters in town, and we found the best spot. Forget going to half priced oysters at that famous place, this was low key and just phenomenal!!

Dont miss this if you are a oyster fiend like meself!!
