This restaurant is located down a little alley that makes you feel as if you've been transported to Italy along the way. The staff are friendly and make you feel as if you belong to their little neighborhood club. The food is wonderfully prepared and presented and is both creative and delicious. No one rushes you and they are non-intrusive but also willing to make suggestions for you dinner and wine selections.

The duck pappardelle was very good (a bit salty). The wine list was good. The place was jammed and it was very difficult to hear anyone at the table talk.

Sociale is located on Scaramento St. in Laurel Hights. It is in the rear building. so the entrance is down a narrow side alley. The garden atmosphere is cozy, but comfortable.
Because we wanted to try as many dishes as possible, we shared the crab timbale appetizer and the foie gras ravioli pasta course. For our mains we had the rabbit pot pie and grilled quails. It was all truly excellent.
The helpful and friendly service helped make this a memorable dining experience.
The only negative was that I thought the wine list somewhat overpriced. Next time I'll bring a bottle and pay the corkage.

The food, ambiance, service are all perfect here. They also have a good wine list, but we usually bring our own (corkage is reasonable).

The restaurant is down a little alley way. It is a romantic spot that my wife and i have been going to since before we were married. Over the past few years, we have probably eaten here over 10 times, so I thought was time to give these guys a good review :)

We much prefer to sit on the patio under the heat lamps, as you have a bit more space, and therefore a bit more privacy. Inside the restaurant is a little tight - tables a little too close together.
