My husband and I have been to this place a few times already (thanks to my friend Fides) and loved each one. It gets very crowded so we usually go during lunch time. We always order rainbow salad - excellent - tastes a bit sweet and a bit sour and garlicky; however, people who don't like any sour taste in their food should avoid this (it was my mom's complaint). To me, though, it's SOOO good you won't leave any on your plate. Chef's special ribs were very tasty also, however, a little messy to eat. I can't recall everything I've ordered before as it's been quite a while but I do know it was all very good. Serving portion is quite small, so you'll have to order more if there are more than a couple people in your party and/or if you have a big appetite. Seating is a little tight but not really a problem. Don't be discouraged by the exterior; it's well decorated inside.
I heard Burma Superstar is owned by a Filipino and Burmese couple who thought of combining both cuisines, and the result is a wonderful place to go for Asian food that's not greasy. Actually, it's this place that made me try other Burmese eateries, although none comes close. It must be the fusion thing. You should definitely try it if you haven't already.
