“Poor Quality Food and Expensive Price”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 30, 2013

i had a very disappointing steak at Waterfront. It must have been the only tough fillet steak I have ever eaten and it was burnt (in a bad way) on the outside and almost raw on the inside. The prices are for good quality restaurant food but the fare is more worthy of a cheap cafe. I also had a long wait. Spend a little more and go to Great Southern Restaurant which is almost next door.

Had a delicious seafood lunch in the sunshine! Great view over the water outside. Really enjoyed the lunch. Quite away from pier 39.

“Adequate, plus location”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

The primary draw is location - on the water as the name suggests. Food was perfectly fine, timely, reasonably priced. Service was friendly. Clientele seems to be mostly tourists, although some local lunchgoers were there as well. We would return.

“Spanish coffee with a view”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

Didn't really show up for an expensive dinner but the small bar was comfortable and what a view! You look through the liquor bottles to Treasure Island and the Bay Bridge, very cool. Looked at the Apps and the dinner menu but way too expensive, even for SF prices. Oh well, they are on the waterfront and they do have to pay for the inflated rent. Better off eating somewhere else but enjoy the view while you are there. Order the Spanish coffee and watch the bartender's side show, better than the lame Irish coffees that SF is famous for.

“Best Seafood on the Waterfront?”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

Uber modern restaurant on Embarcadero just along from the Ferry Building, lovely staff, great wines (at affordable prices) and seafood to die for. The tagliatelle with seafood is just one of the greatest dishes I have ever experienced and as an appetiser the cheese n mac with lobster lifts this dish to a whole new level! All the while looking out at the bay bridge lit up at night, exquistite.
