I found this little hole-in-the-wall gem on a recent trip to San Fran (I was staying in the financial district), and I ate there 3 times in a week. I can't speak to the food's authenticity, but it certainly was hot and delicious. Every time I went I asked the cashier to choose something for me, and I was never dissapointed. The garlic nan is amazing with everything. Be prepared for generous portions, but don't expect fancy (or really any) decor- it's obviously not a fancy date place but decent service and amazing food at very reasonable prices. Enjoy!

Happened upon this place when looking for somewhere for a quick dinner. It is clearly very popular with the locals with a queue at the counter for takeaways for the entire time I was there. Had an eggplant curry and garlic naan which were both excellent, as well as the best mango lassi I've had for some time. The service was very good and there was a nice relaxed atmosphere to the place. Good large front windows provided an interesting view of the goings on of the Tenderloin in the evening.

Great for the budget conscious traveler. You can take your own alcohol too. The dishes wont necessarily be how you expect them to be, e.g. the Korma is nothing like a Korma, but still mega yummy. Be careful of the area, it is quite dodgy, but use common sense and you'll be fine. Overall though, when the price is that low, and the food is that good, you can't really complain.

This is a delicious cafeteria-style Indian/Paki restaurant in a not-so-safe area of San Fran. Great for a quick lunch/takeout and excellent for vegetarians. Try the lentil and eggplant dishes with naan bread. Tasty lunch for under $10!

Review for Vegetarian Food only.
- Std Limited Choices for Veg Food
- Food was acceptable on one day and below average on the next day.
- Food was server piping hot with complimentary salad.
- Friendly and Fair owner
- Naans are thick and Fluffy (if you like that style).
- Absolutely horrible Stuffed Nan (potato/Alu).
- Need to focus more on improving quality and can be great.
