Food was edible, nothing special and will not be visiting again. Food was bland, the best part was the margaritas. Towards the end of the meal an authentic mexican band arrived to provide entertainment. Other than the music and margaritas my visit would not have been a rememberable experience at all.

Puerto, as the locals like to call it, is fun, hip and always going off. Expect to wait. Parking sucks but the crowd is cool and arty and the food is great.

We were drawn to the restaurant due to the large crowd waiting outside, decided to stick out the wait -- I am thrilled we did. The pitcher of margaritas could have been a contributor, but the food was excellent! Some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. Very friendly folks!

We came as a group of three for dinner. The hour was a bit late, but thet served us without a hunch. The emnu was all Mexican, and rthey were free nachos and dip for everybody. The beer choice was also decent. Service was quick and the food was warm. I think that burritos were also very good, judging from the reaction s of the other guys. A nice surprise was the bill, not exceeding seventeen dollars for what we ate and drunk. This is a good choice for a Mission District restaurant.

thank you to the English guy that we met who recommended this. after a very busy week in san Francisco and our last afternoon we decided to walk to the mission area, saw mission Dolores and then afterwards wanted to find somewhere to chill.

you guessed it, this was the place that was recommended, we have a great afternoon, with lovely wine for my husband and margueritas for me. fahitas to share is highly recommended, it was a great 3 hours at the end of a wonderful week, no rush, we just chilled and watched this restaurant slowly fill up as the afternoon got later into the day.

do try this place, don't think you will be disappointed.
