We popped in here on our first night in SF, as we didn't want anything to fancy or unwieldy to eat. Just something familiar and tasty for a reasonable price.
..and that's precisely what we got. Good prices, friendly and polite service staff, and a pair of excellent tasty pizzas - a cut above your average favourite pizza delivery chain.
We'll definitely be stopping off there on our next trip. Oh, and if you don't fancy the brisk walk up the hill, there's a cable car stop nearby. :)

This pizza shop was just across the road from our hotel. The first night we went to have a look they were very busy and people were lining up out the door to make orders and pick ups - this was a good sign to us that they would be good. As we didnt feel like waiting we ended up going somewhere else but did take one of their menus with us. The next nigh we called from the hotel and ordered a pepperoni (regular) pizza and it was fantastic, and huge! More than enough for 2 poeple! They delivered to our hotel and were very quick. If you feel like pizza when in San Francisco, do give this place a visit

I visited this place for Dinner on the 26th November 2013.

This place doesn't look anything special from the outside but the food was amazing and fresh. I had the Pasta Carbonara and a Small Pepperoni Pizza both had great flavours and you can tell it was hand-made pizza and pasta from the freshness of the meal.

It's a great restaurant in the city and it won't put a hole through your wallet! Next time you're in the city give this a try!

I've seen this place for the past four years, but decided to order to go this year. I ordered a calzone and sauteed mushrooms. Loved the mushrooms - lots of garlic. The calzone was good. Pricing is mid range.

Uncle Vito’s Pizza located on Powell and Bush has great tasting pizza. We happened to look in the window as we walked by and watched them make the pizzas and were impressed with what we saw. But they were crowded the night we dined there so we were seated at a small table just next to the restroom so as far as ambiance was concerned it was a little lacking. But you go to a pizza place for the pizza and we were not disappointed. We ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza and an order of garlic bread. The garlic bread was on a large sandwich roll sliced down the center and was good. But then the pizza arrived and wow they do not skimp on the cheese as it was very ooey and gooey. The toppings were also plentiful and tasty and the crust was very chewy. Service was efficient and good and we look forward to going back there the next time we are in San Francisco.
