We had the tasting menu last weekend and the food was pretty good. The portion was really small though, and the service was a bit slow.
The highlight was the dessert. The plating was beautiful and the flavor was complex. We were celebrating a friend's birthday who happened to be Chinese, and the pastry chef wrote "Happy Birthday" on his dessert plate in Chinese! We were really impressed.
The dinner climax at the moment when the handsome pastry chef, Francis, came out and greeted us in person. The female diners at our table were all blushing, and all were heartbroken when we learned that Francis is married. It was funny to be in the middle of all this.
Overall, the experience was really good and if we come back again next time, we may go for the a la carte menu and definitely for their dessert.
