I have been back here several times; tried various steaks and starters. The menu is not huge, but a good selection. I have had the Rib-Eye and Porterhouse steaks, and they were spot on (Med-rare), and came with zucchini and broccoli that was not overcooked, and a nice baked potato. And good bread. If you order the Porterhouse steak you will most likely not need breakfast the next day. And yes the prawns in the giant prawn cocktail are big. The food is great, and comes fast.
And the place, just off the buzzing market street, takes you back to the time between the world wars. It is like being briefly in another time zone.
I have had great meals, and will go back. Yes, it is expensive (35 for a good steak incl sides), but what do you expect dining in a central location in an expensive city?
