We stopped by after a Giants game and the place was packed! There are tables available but they are self serve and you have to order food and drinks from the bar. This can be very challenging given the crush of people!! The fish and chicken tacos were ok but not great but the beer selection is decent. The watermelon beer in particular was pretty good. Overall it was a good place to stop but I'm not sure we'd go back.

Had the cubano sandwich and site brewed Stout. Both were absolutely phenomenal. The place is a little loud, so conversation is hard, but the food and beverage are worth it.

The place is semi industrial with the cement and metal, but with a liberal use of wood it is also warmer and more inviting. There was some great jazz music playing on the sound system as well, which just added to the wonderful atmosphere.
We sat at the bar and started with a flight of beer. First off, because of the recent Giant homestand they were out of Watermelon beer...which was disappointing. However, the other local beers we tried were really good. We found the menu descriptions to be very accurate. Our flight included the Triple Crown (favorite), Brew Free or Die IPA, Homefront IPA, Amber Waves and the Two Rivers Apple Cider.
We then tried a can of Marooned on Hog Island. Great flavor and depth. Rich and think with a little bit of that cocoa bean bitterness that hints toward dark chocolate. Very good beer.
The last thing we tried was The Knot 100 Proof Irish Whiskey. Wow, that is one tasty whiskey. Best to stop at one and make sure you can make it home!
The bartender was attentive without hovering or making us feel as though we needed to order quickly and move on. So definitely a great place to go an spend some time enjoying great beer and a wonderful atmosphere.

Great brewery with a huge beer selection. Very busy place, so get there early and plan to wait! I had the watermelon beer & it was very light and refreshing. For dinner, I had a steak...typical bar food but still pretty good for what it's worth.

21st Amendment is a growing brewery that distributes their beers nationally in cans (particularly their Brew Free or Die IPA, Back in Black IPA and Hell or High Watermelon Wheat). The brewery is near San Francisco and this little restaurant is in the city, near Fisherman's Wharf and the ballpark.

My husband and I came here for dinner and enjoyed ourselves. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, but we were able to have a drink at the upstairs bar while we waited. Once we were seated, my husband had an IPA and I had a beer sampler. A beer highlight here is that the Hell or High Watermelon beer is served with a wedge of watermelon as a garnish, and it's tasty even if you normally don't like wheat beers (which I don't).

Our server was very friendly and knew the menu very well. We shared some wings, which were good and flavorful (but could've been crispier). My husband had an individual pizza that he really liked, and I had a chicken dish that was really tasty and a very large portion (enough to take some back to the hotel).

This place is definitely worth a visit for anyone visiting SanFran who likes craft beer.
