Pizza ... its something that you can get in most places, and in most places it is 'ok'. It is a meal that is so easy to do and to be very average.
While walking around San Fran (a fave past time when visiting) we fancied something quick and easy for lunch, so googled the best pizza in the area. Google told us Golden Boy, and it was just what we wanted - a quick hole in the wall place.
We grabbed a couple of seats at the bar, ordered food and sat chatting. I certainly don't remember the music being too loud - but this was lunch time so maybe different then depending on who is working.
To be honest because it was pizza we had relatively low expectations, so it was a real pleasure to bite down into such a tasty square of yumminess! Great crust, topping and balance of flavours. I was so tempted to order a 2nd but thought better of it as we had dinner plans for that evening.
I will definitely go back when in the area.
