My wife and I dined with two other couples at Boulevard on Thursday, September 27, and had one of the best meals I've had anywhere. The others in our group expressed similar opinions. The selections were good, everything was perfectly cooked and the portion sizes were exactly right (I do not appreciate restaurants that put enough food on a plate to feed a small army--I much prefer smaller portions that are well prepared and attractively presented--Boulevard excelled on both counts). I had wild Alaskan king salmon that may well have been the best salmon I've ever had, and I am a salmon lover. Pricey, but well worth every cent. I will definitely go back whenever I'm in San Francisco. You definitely need reservations made well in advance.
