We initially were planning on eating at the Great Eastern Chinese Restaurant based on the crowd we saw as we passed by the night before and reviews after looking it up. But even at lunch there was a crowd and 45 minute wait. We were hungry, turned out our second choice was across the street. No line, no waiting, and the food was very good. Probably the best wonton soup I've ever had. The portions were a good size and priced reasonably. Service was fast and friendly.

Great flavor, very reasonable prices, portion sizes are reasonable, so order appetizers. We ordered hot and sour soup which was very good, portions small tho so order another appetizer.

We had green beans with pork, which was not overcooked and shrimp that was yummy and asparagus chicken with lots of asparagus. I had tons of vegetables by he time I left which really felt healthy and it wasn't greasy.

They took reservations on a Friday night, which I appreciated.

Great service.

Because of all the incredible reviews here, we decided to eat dinner here. We had very tasty pork dumplings, followed by really bland pork fried rice and so-so Kung Pao chicken. We were there around 5 PM on a Tuesday. Service was fine. Prices were good. But there must be better food in Chinatown.

We ate here based on our TA reviews and went back a 2nd night!

The food was good, the service was good and there was a good atmosphere there - our waiter on the 1st night had a great sense of humour!!

To top off the experience this is really good value!!

We went to Hunan Home's based on TA reviews and were not disappointed. The decor is reasonably nice and the food and service were both excellent. We were there around 4:30 p.m. on a Saturday and the place was hopping, although we got a table with no problem (as others indicate there is a big dining room in the back that you don't see from the front). We got the combo dinner for two and for $15 each got egg rolls, tea, soup, two entrees, rice and fruit/fortune cookies.
