“Unbelievable gastronomic experience”

I was surprised that the restaurant was located in a hotel lobby and that it was small and cozy. The Ambience was chic with black walls, white linen and toile chairs and red hanging lampshades. Our server spoiled us to death! We were treated like royalty. We took one of our clients who we thought would enjoy the chef's magic. He did not disappoint. We chose the six course tasting meal with the cheese tray. Interestingly, we did not get six courses---but nine! Chef Ron Siegel kept on surprising us with little "tastes" of great culinary concoctions. . . some, I would never even imagine. For instance: carrot and green apple sorbet. It was so refreshing and delicate. Everything was wonderful and beyond our wildest expectations. After the meal, our server asked if we wanted to meet the chef and we did! He was so gracious. We were given souvenier copies of our menu rolled up and tied with a bow. Dessert was unbelievable. The cheeses were an experience. The beef ribeye was tender and melted in your mouth. The chilled crab salad was out of this world. We just kept on being surprised and amazed at the great mixture of tastes and textures. It was a magical night. Everyone should be so lucky to experience a meal at Masa's. We are looking forward to our next experience.
