Mana's is definitely an experience. Get their 30-45 minutes before opening or risk waiting for a long time.........home made jam is outrageous

Seriously, get comfortable, bring your e-reader,newspaper,book,whatever you need to pass the Time……….you will wait no less than an hour & a half. only about 20 tables

It is a True San Francisco experience. I used to live there & even if you go early there is a line .
Just go there Knowing this.
All the food from the breads, cakes & jams are home Made……and really good Big,Big portions breakfast/brunch food.
The owners family work there, they are soooo grateful for everyone's business.
The Food servers MOVE NON STOP Along with the awesome cooks, so it's not the workers fault
it is always busy

Like many other reviewers, we loved the food but hated the "experience" of waiting 1 hour+ to eat it. My daughter, who isn't a big breakfast person, was ready to kill me. We got there at about 7:45 AM on a Sunday and there was already a line. Good thing we were still on East Coast time as the line was even longer when we left. I left hubby in line and took kids around the corner to visit the Church of St. Peter and Paul once Mass was finished. That killed a little time. Then my hubby noticed a race setting up so he signed up for the 2 mile "Fun Walk" that started at 9AM and ran it in his street clothes. He got done just in time for our entry into Mama's. Definitely an odd way to spend a Sunday morning! The pastry and omelettes were good, ingredients were fresh, and staff was friendly. The bathroom was a tiny lean-to grafted onto the back of the building. I wouldn't suffer this long wait again on any future visits to SF but I guess I'm glad I ate here once.

Got there early to see a queue was already out the door, waited and waited for an hour and moved about 6ft.
No one came out to tell us how long the wait would be.
In the end gave up and went to a lovely bakery nearby and got baked goods and coffee and had breakfast in Washington Square park..

Wasted enough time standing in line for this place. Don't want to say any more about it. Lacking in customer appreciation and service.
