Well priced and really, really tasty and fresh pastries. I loved the tiny sandwiches (which leave plenty of room for desserts) and the vats of fresh latté (which don't). I walked up hill after hill to get here and was rewarded with amazing cream puffs and tarts and cookies to bring home (and by home, I mean the hotel--nothing made it home home). There are also some fun but expensive thrift stores and it's worth a walk to the neighborhood. Some of the counter people were snippy but maybe they were offended by my Julia Childlike pastry lust. The other site a few blocks away has nice staff and room to sit but fewer pastry options.
