“New, eclectic and hitting all the right notes”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

This is one of the reasons why we live in San Francisco: new restaurants pop up that are casual yet deliver on service and culinary innovation and execution, all in a pleasant, unassuming atmosphere. Dishes were rightly sized, imaginative and nicely executed.
Am looking forward to go back.

“Dining Experience To Remember”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

You know the food, service and ambiance is outstanding when you can't get a reservation. My daughter (a chef) and I were lucky enough to get a reservation a month in advance, almost didn't go but then went and thought how stupid it would have been to miss this extraordinary dining experience. Everything from the cocktails through the desserts were outstanding. Our waiter was so knowledgeable I asked my daughter if I though he was part owner, he acted like it. No detail was missed throughout the meal. We split all the offerings and the dishes were as they say in NYC "to die for". If you can get in, go and enjoy. You will not be disappointed.

“New York's Loss”
Reviewed March 4, 2013

WOW! San Francisco is so lucky to have attracted these New Yorkers to our side of the country. We had an early reservation before the symphony. We wished we didn't have leave Rich Table it was so good. Surprisingly good local vodka and gin martinis, perfect oysters, amazing sardine chips (yes!), a pasta with black truffles that was like the best that Marea in New York has to offer, butter poached rabbit with mole (again, yes!), carafe of 01 tempranillo, panna cotta with great dessert wines...good thing the Bruckner 7th Symphony is load. We can not wait to return, this time with friends and we hope to see our server, Michael, again. Brilliant dining event on all counts.

“Outstanding”
Reviewed February 9, 2013

I loved this restaurant. It has a casual, rustic look with very sophisticated food. Everything is delicious, layered with intense flavor. The chefs are clearly fond of texture, as many dishes had a bit of crunch using ingredients like toasted wheat berries. The rabbit lasagna was out of this world! Desserts were scrumptious. Friendly staff, pretty reasonable prices for the quality: this restaurant is a clear winner.

“A Palate Education”
Reviewed February 3, 2013

Being from northeast US, I have access to great and diverse food. What we do not have, are many "California Cuisine" "Farm to Table" kind of places. Rich Table, I'm guessing, is one of those. So many new flavors...very earthy and different...BUT all very enjoyable. The tajardin, house cultured butter with perigord black truffles was excellent. One of my dinner mates stated that the charcoal grilled NY strip steak with chimchurri white mushrooms was the best steak he's ever eaten. To top it off, the sourdough bread pudding was great.

I plan on going back when in SF for a week in June.
