On a recent trip to San Francisco, a friend suggested La Taza for dinner. I'm soooooo glad he did. I had the most wonderful, mouth-watering food that i could have imagined. I ordered their iced tea, which they call their troical mix, the BEST iced tea i've had. The calamari appetizer was beyond fabulous. The squid was tender, and served with thinly sliced lemons and green beans. If a restaurant has calamari on it's menu, I order it. I'm a calamari fanatic. La Taza's is some of the best i've ever stuffed into my mouth. The main course was a pork loin with mushsroom sauce, spinach, yes spinach mashed potatoes, and perfectly cooked vegetables. By that , I mean that they were tender but still crisp and delicious. My friend and me shared a dessert, the cheesecake. OMG, it was the percect ending to a really great dining experience. Locals and visitors alike will enjoy this pace, so GO THERE. do yourselves a favor. It's worth it.

We had breakfast here twice during a recent trip to SF and the coffee and food was excellent. I had omelettes and the kids had pastries, with no complaints from anyone. Service is very prompt and prices were very reasonable.

I ate at Cafe La Taza 3 times within a course of a week, and enjoyed every meal I had here.
I tried the Ahi Tuna wrap and the Scramble de la Casa - both fresh, made to order, delicious and packed with veggies. They also have freshly squeezed orange juice and great home baked goods.
The service is quick and friendly, and the food reasonably priced and yummi. Highly recommended!

I went here because Honey Honey was packed. What a surprise! Try the Chorizo Scramble with potatoes. My wife had the Classic Crossoint with potatoes. Really good food.
