We ate here last night before the Terence Blanchard show at SF Jazz. We had the black cod with shrimp, which can be ordered as a main course or appetizer, to share as a starter. I found the dish slightly salty, though horseradish as a topping was inventive and flavorful. We then had the elk and lamb shoulder as main courses. The lamb was accompanied by tiny cauliflower heads, and was excellent, though the size was surprisingly small. The elk had Swedish cheese and berries, which again worked well. For dessert we had the chocolate cake with chocolate ice cream and the rhubarb/strawberry pie. We would come back for dessert for sure after a show. Overall, very good food, though the entrees are pricey, especially for their size. Corkage is $25; we brought our own wine, as the wine list is limited, though not overly expensive.
