I have been staying at this Club Quarters, for business, for several years. The hotel is definitely "first class" with many free amendities. The location is Great, and the staff is very friendly (A special Thanks to Haris.) I would definitely recommend this Hotel for your travel plans.
Thank You.

I was at this hotel not too long ago and I decided to write this review for 1 reason- service. I was unimpressed when I first walked in to some of the most nonchalant customer service reps and the "fun size" rooms. What really made the hotel worthwhile and makes me want to return were the workers I encountered later in my trip.

Kudos to Sarbi and Ernie!!! If you're lucky enough to meet Sarbi and her welcoming smile you'll feel right at home. She was so helpful in restaurant recommendations and never makes you feel like you're taking up her time. I could have stayed and talked to her for longer but alas, a girl has got to do her job! And she does her job like it is not work. I met Ernie when I returned after a late night and he is an easygoing, welcoming guy. Poor guy was the overnight but he offers a lot of laughs and great service.

I will return because of those two and for once, look forward to the later hours of the day!

Room Tip: Ask for an outside facing room and off the 2nd floor away from smoking rooms

We are currently staying here for a three week vacation when checking in Harris was so helpful in sorting out a room for us as the first one was not up to much but he was very efficient and apologetic
Nothing is too much for the staff here
It's lovely to get coffee in the morning too before leaving for the day
Will stay here again :)

A recent 5 day stay at Club Quarters in San Francisco proved to be an education in customer service excellence. Guest service manager Haris Yonisi went beyond expectations to accomodate our requests when a misuderstanding with reservations became a sticking point.
In spite of our at times emotional upset, Haris kept a professional and even-keeled temperament. He clearly articulated the source of misunderstanding and proposed several ways to resolve it.
His high level of rational empathy culminated in his successful advocation of our position to management the results of which exceeded our expectations. Bottom line: we were very impressed with Haris both as a person and as a professional.

Great location near the Ferry Terminal. This hotel has all the right amenities. Not alot of useless stuff, just what one requires to feel comfy and well rested. Love the water and coffee stations, cleaniness, extreme quite in the hallways and best of all the staff is kind and helpful, no stuffiness. Fantastic, one of the best overall hotels I have stayed in during my 27 plus years of extensive travel. Haris mans the front desk with an easy-going efficiency.Very hip place to refuel while in the gorgeous city by the bay.

Room Tip: upgrade for a few bucks and get a larger room with a micro and frig, or for $25 more get a kitchenet...

Checking in to Club Quarters I was greeted and served by Haris and Josh, both of whom went out of their way to help me find the room I wanted with the amenities I was looking for. They were extremely helpful, courteous, an diligent in helping me as I checked in.

Room Tip: If the hotel is not completely booked, ask for a room which has a microwave and refrigerator!

The Club Quarters San Francisco offers guests an enviable location in the heart of the Financial District one block north of the Transamerica Tower and 2 blocks south of Market Street. During the work week the neighborhood buzzes with activity, weekends, very quiet however more shops and businesses are open and the Embarcadero is an easy walk. If looking on a map, the Le Meridian is directly across Clay Street and you are at the base of Nob Hill if you travel north (downhill) on California Street.

The Club Quarters is a unique mix with few hotels which can rival due to their unique concept (discounted rates for members) coupled with amenities and room types. Oriented towards the business traveler, leisure travelers will welcome the amenities. The best comparison would be Marriott’s Fairfield and Residence Inn concept yet with the location of a JW or Renaissance. Of note, if you are looking for a larger hotel with a bustling lobby scene, multiple restaurants on-site, bars and so forth, CQ is not for you. If you tastes are more boutique and efficient, read on.

Check-in: is automated. While there is a front-desk, the check is via kiosks. You use the credit card you booked with to check-in. Of note, early-check-in is available on a space-available basis yet it is an additional $35.0O which as a travel agent I have a mixed opinion on as if the room is available, forgo the minimal revenue and please the guest.

Room I: I had booked the lowest tariff room available, at time of booking it was $119.00. We went to the room, it was small, yet efficient. A small window, full bed and a small work area, shower stall. Best for one person. We dropped out luggage and went out for the day.

Room II: Upon returning there was a sign in the lobby advising upgrades available that night for $15.00. We decided to upgrade. The new room was more of a suite, easily double to triple the size. The new room had a larger bed, a mini kitchen including cook top, microwave and a bar refrigerator. The bathroom had a full tub and there were two expansive windows.

Of note, I checked via my phone rates for that night. The rate for our room had dropped to $99. At check out the upgrade of our room and tax turned the $119 room + upgrade into a $160 tariff, however by San Francisco standards, still a bargain. Pictures of both rooms are included.

Amenities: As mentioned the CQ is oriented to business travelers. The first floor lounge area has a nice coffee set-up with all the condiments readily available. There is a rack with local newspapers and tourism information. There are multiple desktop work stations with a printer available. On one table was an assortment of phone chargers available for guests to use. The fireplace and flat-screens were a nice touch and welcoming.

On the lower level is a small workout facility. Of interest is the vending machine which offers many items travelers for get i.e. tooth brushes, paste, deodorant and so forth. Even though there are multiple drug stores within 5 minutes walk to Market Street, a nice amenity within the hotel.

There is an on-site restaurant, well technically attached that is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant, a pub style place does offer room service. In addition the in-room dining provides menu’s from neighboring restaurants as well which deliver. The on-site restaurant pricing was in-line with the neighborhood and not inflated hotel pricing.

There are some unique perks which I have also included pics which I found to be efficient and practical;

Filtered Water: On each floor (except the top floor) is a machine which dispenses filtered water. What is nice, there are reusable plastic bottles at the machine. Great concept esp. if you desire to take your water on the run as we did i.e. when out touring.

Amenities Closet: The amenities closet had an ironing board and other amenities for guests to use. I found this efficient as the option allows for additional closet space in the room and the access is personal, no need to call housekeeping or the front desk.

Overall, if you are looking for an efficient, smaller boutique hotel for both transient or longer-term stay, a worthwhile option. Of note, club members can also store clothing and items at the hotel for future stays. Note to CQ, bring the concept to downtown Denver and or the Cherry Creek North neighborhood of Denver, have the perfect building(s) to consider.

Room Tip: Even though windows are double pane, if you are a light sleeper consider rq. an inside room i.e. int...
