Totally worth to take a tour on this if you wanna get to know the city, busses run perfectly and have 3 different routes, at night some buses may not have windows so dress for cold .

It's the best way to enjoy San francisco.
Night tour was great and so much fun.
Blake was the best guide. Thank you so much. I really enjoyed.

Purchased the two day pass. Over the three days we were in town we took a total of five buses. First bus we took had no live guide. Second bus had the best guide we have had all weekend. Doug is the most informative and funny guide we have had. If possible ask for Doug’s tour.

On Saturday they are busy and had to wait for four busses before there were any open seats on the top of the bus.

We also did the night tour with (Nic?). And we learned more about his childhood than the city. We saw his elementary school and his high school. He was a wrestler in school.

So ask for Doug!

This bus tour of the city of San Francisco is a hop on-hop off double decker full size bus. With 20 stops along the continuous 2 and a half hour route, you could make most of the sightseeing stops very easily. While you're on the bus, there is a person narrating and giving you insights into what you are passing. The young lady that we had was very knowledgeable, very bubbly and made the tour part very enjoyable. As with any tour bus, the hard plastic seats on the open-air upper deck of the bus were very small and cramped, but in fairness I've yet to ride one that wasn't. It was $50 per person, a little pricey, but we enjoyed it immensely. You have 24 hours from the time you get your tickets for the on-off privileges. I recommend starting earlier in the day to allow for getting off at various sights/locations and then catching the buses again when you're ready to move on. One comes by about every 20 minutes along their route. The last bus departs stop 1 at around 5:00, so if you take that one from beginning to end you'd be back at stop 1 around 7:30. All in all a great way to not only get around but to hear fun facts about this unique city as well as making it so YOU don't have to drive those narrow, hilly streets!

This was my first time ever to take a big bus hop on hop off tour. I always thought they were time consuming and a bit on the expensive side but boy I was wrong.
This was totally worth that time and the money. After this ride we decided the big bus tour will always be our starting point in any new city. Our host and driver Ray and Danial were amazing that we decided not to take our chances and hop off and just take the whole ride with them. Very knowledgeable with an international sense of humour plus a lot of personal stories that made us feel so welcomed and entertained.

Really enjoyed Alcatraz trip, one of the highlights of our California tour. The big bus tour was interesting, the guides were knowledgeable. This combo ticket included a smaller bus tour of Sausalito and the guide on this was very entertaining!

This is an inexpensive and easy way to get around the city and see a lot of things. Donagh and Hong did a fantastic job getting us around and explaining what we were seeing. Of course, the Hop On Hop Off feature is a good method of transportation, so a two day pass is good. The first day for learning and the second day for hopping. Make sure you bring a jacket and sit up top!

Did the premium tour package, 48 hr ticket. Hop on hop off, and the night tour.
Night tours are very busy, so get there early.
