On a cold raining day, the Boudin on the wharf was warming and welcoming. Try the Clam Chowder in their original bread, so good......

So you have to pick up your lunch and bring it to your table, but it doesn't stop it from being delicious. And the portions are HUGE. I highly suggest the chicken caesar salad (comes with cold chicken but they will heat the chicken for you) and the tomato soup in a bread bowl. The tomato soup was out of this world and is served over large croutons in a bread bowl with shaved parmesan cheese on top. Delicious - and right on the pier. Great place - fast, easy, with great food and a friendly staff.

Actually intended to go to the Bistro Boudin on Jefferson but couldn't be bothered and ended up here. Had nice coffee and good food without blowing us away. Would return if here again.

During our Christmas stay recently we stopped into Boudin Bakery for late night snacks and drinks, and another day for breakfast. Great service both times, the service and food were excellent. The building itself is a treat! Fresh baked sour dough breads in the shape of turtles, crabs, alligators, and bread bowls are all fun to see and would be a treat for the kids! The breakfast line was a little long, but moved quickly. Pay at the counter, no wait staff so if you are on a tight budget, this restaurant delivers!
