The folks on TripAdvisor never cease to amaze me. Went here based on all previous reviews & they're all on point. This place is definitely a throwback in time when things were done with natural ingredients & nothing complicated. Just had the ice cream, although I could have been convinced to try more, & the taste was wonderful. Not heavy or rich tasting, but light & you could truly taste the flavor. The waffle cone was also very light & crisp & not the usual waffle cone I'm used to eating. Great place for an ice cream treat & to just imagine of what eating ice cream was like back in 40s & 50s. It's not in a tourist area but decided to venture out there after spending the day at the museums. Worth taking the walk of the beaten path. Note to anyone visiting during the winter season, it's closed on Tuesday.
