I found this little gem on Yelp. From the outside it wasn't much but once you step through the door it is a warm and inviting little place. The decor is understated with the authentic feel of Italian bistros yet current and chic at the same time.
The food: I went to Italy last summer and ate my way from Parma to Naples. It was fantastic except I keep trying attempting to find food like that here. I haven't come close until now. We had the prosciuttio and burrata mozzarella/pizza dough appetizer. It was superb. I like the prosciutto sliced almost paper thin and this was slightly thicker but that's just me. Delicious! I ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara and my husband had a Pizza with olives and burrata mozzarella. Both fantastic.
We had our children with us (6 and 11) and they were taken care of very nicely by the owner (or at least I think he is the owner?).
Overall, a quaint little gem of a place that does a darn good job of pretty authentic Italian. Great place.
