“This Is A Must See Show!”
Reviewed July 13, 2013

The show was fantastic! My friends and I took our children to the show. I thought it would be more of a kids show, but there was a good mix of magic for all ages. There is also a lot of audience participation for people who want to take part in the magic. My son got to go up on the stage, and he can't stop talking about how much fun that was. The Magician was so friendly, he was greeting all the guests as we entered the theatre and stayed after the show to pose for pictures. The truth is we all enjoyed the show, and the ticket prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this show, it was the highlight of our afternoon down at Fisherman's Wharf.

“Awesome magic show!”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

This show is, hands down, the best attraction at Pier 39. I've taken both friends and family members and have thoroughly enjoyed the performance each time. Tim is a skilled magician with an impressive repertoire, and his show has a little something for everyone. He will have you alternately amazed at his feats of magic and "mind-reading", breathless in anticipation of his next move, and rolling in laughter at well-timed, comical surprises. Tim also adds a real personal touch. It's clear that he loves what he does and that he truly enjoys connecting with his audience, both from the stage and also one-on-one before and after the performance. If you're anywhere near Fisherman's Wharf, go see this show -- you'll be glad you did.

“Great Show For All Ages”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

Tim is a great magician and you can definitely see that he loves to entertain. I appreciated that he took the time to meet with his audience before and after the show. The children in the audience seemed to have a great time. I would definitely recommend the show to my friends with children.

“Great family entertainer, good value, in a nice theater!”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

We’ve seem this show three times now. When friends and family (especially with kids) visit San Francisco we head out to Pier 39 for a seafood lunch and a magic show.

Nope, it’s not a big Las Vegas show so if you expect dancing girls and tigers you won’t find any. If you’d enjoy an impressive one guy show you’ll find your money well spent.

Timothy is both the host and performer who’s a very personable and talented magician and makes his magic things happen just a few feet away from you. We adults liked the more sophisticated mind reading and the younger love the funny moments (you’ll love meeting his cute little “pet”.)

The theater is large, but if it’s not full, you’ll feel up-close and personal, and part of the show. There’s a lot of interaction with the audience, Timothy is especially good a making the kids feel right at home on stage.

You can tell this guy has been around the block, he knows how make his magic amaze and knows what entertains people and enthralls the kids. Yes, there are those free shows down at the end of the Pier, but if you want the real deal, to sit in the comfy chairs, and see a pro work, go enjoy this theater. You can even make a day of it and do a combo ticket to see the bay aquarium next door too.

We’re sure we’ll visit Pier 39 again next time we want to have a lovely casual afternoon with our out of town guests.

“Magic for a children's event”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

If you haven't seen Siegfried and Roy or David Copperfield or a Cruise Ship magic performance, you might enjoy this introduction to magic. We went on a Saturday for a 2PM show. There was a cruise ship in and it was the weekend prior to the Fourth of July. I thought, "we'd better get there early, the place will be packed". Nope, half of the seats were empty. The magician was very friendly. The younger children seemed to enjoy this show. I'd skip this and head to the front of Pier 39 (near the crab statue) for the ever changing live performances... which are FREE.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry you felt that the half full theater was some indication as to worth, but the fact is, that was the weekend of SF Pride, which is the most attended event in SF, apart from the Bay to Breakers. So, yes, that weekend we were running at about 50% capacity.

The show is specifically designed to appeal to a wide range of guests, as the demographic is generally family audiences with children. I carefully structured the magic to be a balance of comedy magic for the children guests, mind reading magic for the adults, and serious heartfelt pieces for everyone. This is why 99% of adult attendees leave 5 star reviews. There are also fun magical effects with a local or historical message, because the show supports the Bay Institute and the Aquarium of the Bay.

The show is not a David Copperfield-style Large Illusion Show, otherwise it would be billed as such, and the ticket price would be reflective of such a large production. Current prices for David Copperfield's Vegas show range from $129-$182 each, while the San Francisco Magic Show is a reasonable $15-$25 per ticket.

Regardless, all feedback is good feedback, and I truly appreciate you taking the time and effort to share your thoughts. I can be reached directly through my show website, and I would love to hear from you on what you personally feel could be different to have made your experience more enjoyable.
