Right off Union Square 1 block from Bart's Powell Station. Great front desk service. Small, but nicely appointed rooms (w/bathrobes) Sink was an alcove in the bedroom, separate from the toilet and tub. No sink counter space -just a SMALL shelf. Ask for a room away from the nightclub on weekends. We bearly heard it from the 3rd fl.-didnt bother us. Small continental breakfast room for take away only. Considering the lack of hotel space on an extremely busy weekend, this was overall a great value. Im glad I booked early.

Room Tip: Get a lower floor and use the stairs..faster than waiting for the small elevator. (Italian restauran...

Fusion Hotel San Francisco

This is a great hotel in a convenient location for tourists, in the centre of San Francisco, not far from Union Square and the shops.
Our room on the third floor was clean and fresh, the room maid did a particularly good job of making sure of that. My wife and I couldn't have asked any more in that respect.
The girls on the reception desk were really helpful in organising some of our excursions and sorting out the most cost effective way of getting us around town, also, finally arranging our last journey to the airport.
Breakfast is available in a room on the 4th floor where the hotel janitor kept the stocks of breakfast foods full for guests to help themselves. There was available pastries, fruit, and individual packets of flavoured porridge along with the tea, coffee, fruit juice and milk which you take back to your room to consume. There was coffee creamer and hot water to make tea in reception. If you ask nicely you can get milk for your tea. It seems that the Americans can’t quite get the hang of us Brits and our tea habit; they all seem drink coffee or tea without milk.
If I have a small criticism, and it is small, it would be the variety of choice for breakfast. After the second day it all seemed rather sweet. May I suggest some breakfast cereal such as Cornflakes or perhaps Weetabix as an alternative?

Should you require a no fuss, convenient, reasonably priced place to stay within walking distance of the main shops, China Town, and cable car stops in San Francisco, then this is the one for you.

Room Tip: Room sizes vary, ask for a larger one if available

Booking in effortless. Room very comfortable with safe and very clean. was a bit concerned re noise on previous posts stayed here for two nights had absolutely no issues. Very central location was the first time we have been in San Francisco and would definately stay here again. felt a good safe neighbourhood. only thing i would do differently is to ask about car parking, we parked close by and were charged 70 dollars for the two nights and on checking out i believe i saw validation parking tickets that we were not made aware of for a less expensive rate. Overall good experience and would stay here again

I stayed at the Hotel Fusion the week of 30/9/12. I found the room clean, working airconditioner, sufficient continental breakfast.

I was on the third floor. There was no noise from the street or club.

The room was not small; not large, but quite fine for the week's trip.

There was plenty of closet and drawer space to unpack all my belongings.

I'd recommend this hotel for those that want to stay close to the Union Square area.

We had originally booked into the Stratford Hotel for its proximity to Union Square, however on arrival the elevator was out of order and the staff transferred us to their sister Hotel the Fusion, they also gave us the taxi fare for the one block ride with our suitcases.
On arrival at the Fusion the reception staff were excellent, the room itself was cosy (small) but had everything we needed, two beds, fridge, restocked coffee maker, nice shower room, with restocked products.
The room was clean and the cleaning staff polite and friendly.
There was complimentary breakfast served on the 5th floor which has to be taken back to your room to eat, consisted of Danish pastries, cakes, apples, oranges, instant porridge, orange or cranberry juice, coffee milk and a microwave was provided. This suited us fine.
The reception staff were very helpful and always cheerful, we were due to go back to the Straftord for the last day of our holiday but they allowed us to stay on at the Fusion to save all the hassle of packing up just for one day. Can't thank them enough.

I wasnt over impressed with this hotel but i would say that the staff made us feel very at home and welcome they all should be credited for that.Overall the room was small and very noisy indeed we stayed in room 529 if you like noise its fine but we where so very disappointed it was on the top floor and it must have been the air conditoning unit on the roof which caused the noise and the walls vibrated too. When i opened the blind to look out of the window all you can see is pipes airconditioning units and other rooms windows. The breakfast is rubbish even though its complimentary i suggest you pop out and use a diner or something which there are plenty.locaction was excellent and transport to the hotel was great we used the BART takes about 20 mins and was 8 bucks each.

Room Tip: dont stay in room 529!
