No reservations taken but only a 20 minute wait on a Saturday night. Leopold's was filled with genuinely happy diners. There was a one page menu for food and three for beer and drinks. The draft beer was wonderful but we were not brave enough to order the boot glass. There was German music but it could barely be heard over the chatter of all the people. Conversation was difficult, but food was great. We were luck to go on a pretzel night and they were served with a nice mustard. The wait staff wore German dress and the gentleman at the door set the mood as soon as he greeted us. We truly felt we had left San Francisco and were transported to another place. We will definitely be going back.
