Have stayed here many times and each time is great. For conferences at Moscone you just can't beat the location. As always the service and Four Seasons is great. Corner suite has lots of room with a great view of SF.

Room Tip: Get a suite on the 17th floor for great view.

Although the rooms are not the most luxurious compared with other Four Seasons hotels, service was very good and maintenance well upkept. We had a couple of issues in the room, e.g. TV was not working, shelf above bathroom sink cracked - all of which were repaired/ replaced immediately. Food and drinks at MKT were great, and there is a decent wine list at the bar. Concierge, front desk and the porters were always very helpful and friendly. The location is close to Union Square and a short walk to Ferry Terminal, which makes it good for shopping/ dining. We enjoyed our stay!

The Four Seasons Hotel is a very nice hotel but certainly not worth the price. The accommodations were lovely; the bed very comfortable. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Although the restaurant is fairly small, it should not have been necessary to wait to be seated for breakfast. Although we expected high prices in this upscale Hotel, paying more than $30 for a simple bacon and eggs breakfast was a bit much.

All in all a nice hotel, but forgettable. While the Chicago Four Season is much better in terms of personal touches and luxury, this hotel is nice and in a good location for san fran. Good showers, nice TV, good matress. Dislikes: charging for wifi (for $500 a night....c'mon cheepo's make it gratis!), bar cocktails were lame and not a good value for the price, beer was not cold (because they keep the kegs in the same fridge that the tenders are always accessing). Having to use the next door health club pool was very disappointing - it had lap lanes for the entire pool and required us to walk through a virtual matrix to get there. I would try other hotels there before going back.

Love this hotel -- probably best city Four Seasons I have been to. Absolutely beautiful room -- had 1 br suite on the 9th floor. Amenities were terrific. Staff is always great. Restaurant was excellent -- great bar. Gym is the LA Sports Gym which is great and very convenient. Can't imagine there is a better place to stay in San Francisco.

Room Tip: Suite on 9th floor was amazing.

Great downtown San Francisco location. The hotel has a very friendly staff. The fitness facility is the best one that I have visited while traveling. We had a corner room with two windows overlooking SF. Easy access to the cable cars and the financial district.

Room Tip: The corner rooms have 2 windows and a great view of downtown SF

I hate to rate this at such low score, but I unfortunately cannot lie. After reading all of the reviews, and thinking it's FOUR SEASONS, of course it will be fantastic, I booked a room for my girl's weekend getaway. I am used to staying at luxury hotels, and paying for the service and the accommodations, I felt like this was the biggest waste of money ever!

I booked a room with two beds, thinking they would be queen, because even Hilton Inn has queen beds, they were twin. The mattress on one of the beds had a permanent body imprint on it, that even if you tried to move to the center, or the other side, you were immediately pulled back into the dent! The shower was awful! The shower head would either work on the full beating setting or not at all...definitely needed a replacement! The room itself was nothing to brag about, I have honestly stayed at a nicer Hilton and Marriott than this place!

The restaurant: DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! We ordered a San Francisco salad, which was chopped up ice berg lettuce, semi defrosted tiny shrimp, mixed with a bland dressing, I could make something better at home with closed eyes! We also ordered a turkey burger, it looked delicious, however, the patty was dry and bland, and the burger itself was slathered in blue cheese (dressing?!), which was the only thing you could taste, I ended up eating my patty with ketchup! Another biggest waste of money, considering California has some of the freshest produce available.

I would look into the Westin or the Marriott which are in the nearby neighborhood, but I wouldn't waste my money at this place ever again!

P.S. if you drive, do note, they charge an outrageous $51/night for parking. Even the gentleman that was checking next to me was outraged.
