We stayed here for a few days before continuing a road trip around California. It was perfectly located for the main areas of San Francisco and for transport links, and we found a deal so we got one night for free.

The room was very clean and modern, with great views over the city on all sides, and the daily cleaning was performed excellently. I was sleeping in the pull-out sofa-bed in a suite room since there were three of us. It was very springy but still comfortable. We didn’t eat in the hotel except for a sandwich one day which was very good. The breakfast did look good and they offered complimentary hot drinks which were great before we needed to rush off after checking out. It definitely can’t be described as a family friendly hotel although there were a few staying. The gym looked great although we didn’t use it because of the age restrictions.

The staff were very helpful especially at the concierge where they all the nearby sites and stores and exactly how to get to them by public transport. We didn’t use the car park except for about an hour before leaving when we collected a hire car, and they were very prompt bringing it up from the car park. We found the hotel easily after coming off the BART train from the airport, which was very quick and great value. The location also meant that trains, trams and the cable car were very close to take you anywhere in the city.

The TV had a good selection of channels, although the picture quality of some of the channels was poor, while others seemed to be HD. The TV guide didn’t work on the main TV in our room which was disappointing. The hotel offered free wifi in the lobby by picking up a code from the staff there, which did also work in the room, however each code was limited to 3 hours. The mini-bar was very expensive like most hotels, however it would have been appreciated if some room had been left in the fridge for drinks which we had bought elsewhere.

Overall, the hotel was very good and we would definately recommend it to friends and family, although we might not have stayed there if we hadn’t received the offer that we did.

Planned a long weekend at the SF Four Seasons for an anniversary celebration. Fabulous room with a view south of Market to the Ball park. The concierge desk arranged for a number of fun events for us. Hotel rooms, lobby area, bar, gym, service - all as great as ever at the Four Seasons. SF has so many great places to stay, but this is a cut above.

Room Tip: Get a room either on a high floor facing the downtown area, or south facing the ball park

This is a very nice experience. The lobby is on an upper floor above the street so you are getting away from it all but it is still convenient. Rooms are Four Seasons standard. Very comfortable and good service.

Room Tip: Ask to be high enough to get above the roof of the commercial space.

This Four Seasons was very good.

It has a great restaurant, named the Seasons, that has excellent food and very good service. The rooms are beautiful, and are kept clean and straight. The location of the hotel is also great; it is within walking distance of Yerba Buena Gardens, Union Square, and other restaurants.

Room Tip: Get a room on the upper floor. San Francisco can get a little noisy.

The Four Seasons San Francisco is, without question, the finest hotel in San Francisco with respect to location, service, room quality, and facilities. I have never been disappointed in a Four Seasons property anywhere in the world. No one matches their excellence in service, attention to detail, and friendliness.

Stayed here on last leg of family vacation. What a delight. Got an executive suite for my wife and 2 children. Everything was perfect. Hotel was very clean and service great as you would expect. Used the restaurants here 2 nights. Shopping was very close walking distance and the house car was available to take us to the Wharf and other places.

Amazing hotel. My wife and I stopped here on our road trip and are so glad we did. From the valet's to front desk to concierge the service was impeccable. To top it off they surprised us with an upgrade as treats for our anniversary. Kudos to a job well done as you have us as loyal customers for life. For those traveling we also read the reviews and to be honest the location is actually perfect. Just do your homework on San Fransisco first.
