When my wife and I were planning a visit to San Francisco, we spent some time on Trip Advisor to get some ideas for stuff to do beyond Fisherman's Wharf and Alcatraz. The Marrakech Magic Theater was very highly recommended so we thought we'd give it a shot, especially considering we could both see the show for less than the cost of a show in Las Vegas.
The theater was easily walk-able from our hotel and it's located in a nicer part of downtown. The theater itself is a charming little thing, nicely decorated with a Moroccan flair. We didn't end up eating at the theater, we arrived too close to the start of the show but the food looked excellent. If we did it again we'd make sure we arrived a good hour before the show so we could enjoy supper.
Peter was wandering around doing some tricks before the show, joking with the audience to be and keeping everyone entertained. When they went to seat everyone, a lot of attention was paid to make sure everyone was able to see and that the more enthusiastic people were available to come up and help. The show itself was one of the most entertaining 75 minutes I've ever enjoyed. The tricks are mind blowing and Peter is incredibly entertaining. By the end of the show you don't want to leave, and Peter made a point of sticking around to chat with people afterwards also.
Overall this was an incredible fun evening, and a great value for what Peter charges. You will not get better seats anywhere for a magic show of this type, the advantage of a very intimate setting. Well worth a visit if you're in San Francisco and looking for an evenings entertainment.
