“A must see in San Francisco”
Reviewed October 6, 2011

When my wife and I were planning a visit to San Francisco, we spent some time on Trip Advisor to get some ideas for stuff to do beyond Fisherman's Wharf and Alcatraz. The Marrakech Magic Theater was very highly recommended so we thought we'd give it a shot, especially considering we could both see the show for less than the cost of a show in Las Vegas.

The theater was easily walk-able from our hotel and it's located in a nicer part of downtown. The theater itself is a charming little thing, nicely decorated with a Moroccan flair. We didn't end up eating at the theater, we arrived too close to the start of the show but the food looked excellent. If we did it again we'd make sure we arrived a good hour before the show so we could enjoy supper.

Peter was wandering around doing some tricks before the show, joking with the audience to be and keeping everyone entertained. When they went to seat everyone, a lot of attention was paid to make sure everyone was able to see and that the more enthusiastic people were available to come up and help. The show itself was one of the most entertaining 75 minutes I've ever enjoyed. The tricks are mind blowing and Peter is incredibly entertaining. By the end of the show you don't want to leave, and Peter made a point of sticking around to chat with people afterwards also.

Overall this was an incredible fun evening, and a great value for what Peter charges. You will not get better seats anywhere for a magic show of this type, the advantage of a very intimate setting. Well worth a visit if you're in San Francisco and looking for an evenings entertainment.

“Peter, a one man show, no need for more!”
Reviewed September 28, 2011

My fiance and I were there for the show and what a show it was. Upon arrival you are seated in this wonderful room prior to the performance where you can order drinks and food, which we did and that was wonderful. Peter makes the rounds to provide up close and personal magic for each and every guest before the show even begins!
Next Peter actually escorts you into the theater where he seats you where he wants you to ensure a great show for all. A great show it was! He is quite the showman and very talented. If you are looking for giant grand scale illusions then this is not the place for you. However, if you want a very intimate, up close, unique, lively, fun experience then this is definitely it!
I know this is a dream come true for Peter and I am so plaesed for him and for all those who choose to go. We highly recommend doing so and feel it was a great value. Michael & Maytte

“Fun night of entertainment”
Reviewed September 25, 2011

My partner and I saw the show on a Friday night and had a great time, I would highly recommend seeing Peter if you want a really fun night. Peter is a very charismatic magician with great showmanship. The show featured some real classic magic tricks performed flawlessly. If you get to the show early you can meet Peter in the bar area where he will greet you and perform some one on one closeup magic which was really cool. However what topped the night off was being handed a members only pass invite to The Magic Castle in Hollywood at the end of show. My partner and I stayed behind at the end (we both needed to use the restroom) and were the only people left for Peter to say goodbye to. After a short conversation about our travels and our next stop being LA, he asked us if we wanted to see the Mecca for all magicians – The Magic Castle! How could we say no. We plan to go next week. What a way to finish the night.

“Great entertainment at a great price”
Reviewed September 25, 2011

My sister and I decided to attend this show after reading the recommendations on Trip Advisor. It was a great recommendation! The Marrakech Theater is an intimate setting so you can see Peter as he performs his magic. This is a family friendly show and that made it even better. Peter greets and seats you and talks with you. There was also a lot of audience involvement which made it even more fun.
