What a fantastic day spent in San Francisco, going to many out of the way places in the Mission District. The weather was perfect, the food was exceptional and the tour guide was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Edible Excursions for a fun, educational and delicious experience!

This was my third edible excursion. Took it with my daughter on Mother's Day. Wonderful delicious assortment of food, Indian street food, Korean noodles including side dishes (banchan) & soup, another quaint shop for beer tomato soup & grilled cheese sandwich, a deli stop, a farmers market stop... And more. Tour was Fabulous. Our guide was great and the tour participants were fun. This tour was a little different as you actually went into the restaurants to sit & eat. Had my first Ethiopian food, and it was delicious! Sage ice cream was another delicious first,. So much food that we couldn't eat all of it. High quality food, nice interesting historical neighborhood of Temescal in Oakland. Highly recommended!

A great way to become familiar with lots of products at the Ferry Building.and Emunah did a great job of educating all of us. The Frog Hollow Farms fruit turnovers, the chocolate at Recchiuti Confections and the tasting at Boccalone Salumeria were my favorites and others were good and very interesting. The Frog Hollow fruit turnovers were awesome. Warning - do not taste the chocolate at Recchiuti to avoid addiction. It is wonderful! Particularly the Fleur De Sel Caremels. We had to buy a box after our tour and come back again later for another box before leaving SF. I would definitely recommend this tour for visitors to San Francisco. There were nine in our group which was a good size. The tours are Tuesdays and Saturdays and we went on a Tuesday. It so happened that the farmers market is open on Tuesdays also so we had the opportunity to acquire some fresh produce after the tour. The only negative is that it is sometimes noisy in the Ferry Building (a very busy place) and it was occasionally hard to hear Emunah clearly.

Four of us just took this Saturday tour of Berkeley's "Gourmet Ghetto"... What a fun way to spend three hours! Our guide, Eve, was friendly and knowledgeable and was basically showing us her neighborhood. The tea shop was interesting and the chocolate shop, amazing! It totally changed how we think about chocolate. Love how the butcher shop gets all their meat from within a 150 miles radius. From the yummy pizza at The Cheeseboard to visiting Peet's flagship store, this tour will not disappoint!
