We rode on the blue bus on a Friday and had a great time! Aaron and Willie were our tour guides and they both provided a lot of awesome info while also being entertaining! There were a lot of great stops and we went around a couple of times, first riding the whole thing once through then getting off at the stops we wanted to explore! We snagged tickets on viator for a great price the night before and easily found the stop
at union square at 9am when it started! My husband and I have been to SF a lot but took my brother who was visiting and we all enjoyed ourselves learning more about the city than any of us knew!

The tour guide was almost as boring as the tour. Can someone explain how they could have designed a two hour in one of the most beautiful citys in the world, and it be so absolutely dull. Did I mention it was cold as well, though not as cold as the employees. Just a terrible waste of money and vacation time. Shame on these people

We bought tickets on the blue bus. We bought our tickets on line prior to arriving in San Francisco and paid for 1 day and got the second day for free, which was a great bonus. The bus only has one route and it takes about 2 hours to go around the circuit, with buses coming past set pick up points every 20-25 minutes or so. All of their drivers and guides were very informative and most helpful, especially Alex and there was one driver, “Willie”, who was very entertaining. Two of the buses only have an open deck, so your day may be weather affected.

This company has large double decker bussed and some smaller buses. On the day we took the tour they were using both. If you get off of a large bus at a popular stop, like Golden Gate Bridge, then the next bus is a smaller one they there is not enough room to get back on. We waited an extra hour at the bridge to get on a bus. To make matters worse you can't really do anything during the extra hour as you don't want to loose your spot in line. Additionally, on the lower lever of the large bus we finally got on (the upstairs, open part was full) you couldn't really see out of the windows as they had adversiting "wrap" pasted all over the outside of the windows. Can you imagine a tour bus with the windows mostly covered???

We booked this tour a month before our trip to the city and we were expecting it be to Christmas light tour of the city in atrolley with some history mixed in, but we were sorely mistaken. To begin with there was no one from the tour company at the pick up location to check anyone in so someone from another tour company helped organize us. Then they were fifteen minutes late. We were on the tour for a half hour and all we had heard was plugs for all the retail stores. When we got close to Pier 39 our driver stopped to drop off paperwork then went around the block and picked up more people. At this point we still had not heard anything about the city and the tour was oversold with the added people. We decided to get off the tour. I had to point out that a few of the places he was pointing out were not even correct.
