“Best burger ever!”
Reviewed March 25, 2013 via mobile

I read the reviews and they didn't disappoint!
I had the BBQ bison burger with bacon which was a prefect size with a deep flavor.
I can also vouch for the Parmesan truffle fries which are awesome. All washed down with a draft beer.
Definitely worth the effort if you're staying downtown!

“Burger experience in San Fran”
Reviewed March 23, 2013

Unfamiliar with places to eat in the city, my companion suggested following the recommendations from chefs such as A Bourdain but I insisted at looking at the top 20 list in Trip Advisor instead. So we went to Roam but at the Filmore branch, a small place which had dark lighting but a hip, young and vibrant ambience. My companion ordered a bison burger, and I decided on the salad with an order of mini beef burgers. The salad was a huge serving which was both delicious and healthy accompanied by 3 small grilled burger meats in a skewer. Had a taste of the bison burger and it was really great and not gamey at all. Next time I will be more adventurous and try the elk burger. I also had the blood orange soda which was novel and refreshing. Don't be put off by the lines at the register, this is really a very good place to try whether you are young or not so young.

Stopped here for lunch while on city tour. Best beef burger and chocolate shake! Highly recommend. Wish we had a Roam in my hometown!

all in all, breadth of menu selection, etc., it's the best burger place i've experienced in the US, although you do pay for it. still for me, it's a fair exchange.

“Burgers beyond a burger”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

A great spot for a quick lunch or a contemplative dinner with friends. The space is sparse but outdoor and open window tables can not be beat on a warm afternoon. On a chilly night the communal table is cozy.. My fav is the French Burger with beef; blue cheese and dijon , grilled onions and a piece of butter lettuce. The side of truffle fries; sweet potatoe fries or the vegetable fries and a milk shake tops off the meal... The selection of beers is good. All are ent the traditional burgers either chicken ; venesion , beef are enticing. This is a solo or family spot to visit often.
